Apple Introduces iWork ’08

11 August 2007 - Apple® today introduced iWork™ ’08, a significant upgrade to Apple’s productivity software suite featuring new versions of Pages® and Keynote word processing and presentation applications, and introducing an innovative new spreadsheet application called “Numbers.” Numbers introduces the concept of intelligent tables on a flexible canvas, a new approach that makes it easy to organize information, create calculations, analyze results and make spreadsheets look as great as they work. Malacca High School 180th Anniversary Cellebration

CONFIRMED: MHS 180th Anniversary Celebration will be held from 26th till 28th of July 2007.

MHS, established since the year 1826, will celebrate its 180th 'birthday' throughout the year of 2007. Lots of programmes and activities are planned for this grand celebration. The school has started to upgrade the facilities and the outer look of the school recently to gear ourselves for this joyous event. There are lots of speculations about the date of the celebration. As we have expected, the will beheld from 26th till 28th of July 2007.

On the 26th and 27th of July, we will have our Hari Kantin, Hari Ko-Ku, Hari Q, etc. There is a plan where the whole school's students and teachers will camp at the school for a night. But this plan was scrapped because of the lack of facilities in the school.

On the 28th of July, there will be a mass celebration of MHS's 180th Anniversary. The main event will be held at the school hall. All MHS's teachers, students, ex-teachers, Old Boys and those who have direct or indirect link with MHS. are invited to the event. At night, there will be a mass dinner which consist of people stated above, possibly at Equatorial Hotel due to its location and space. The ticket for the dinner is being printed and will be sold to anyone who are interested to join the dinner. The price of the ticket is yet to be confirmed.

Besides, the school also plan to launch a 'Tabung Pendidikan MHS'. The tabung's money will come from donations by students, teachers, etc. It will be used for curiculum and co-curiculum activities organized by the school and students.
